Book Review: Me Talk Pretty One Day
Me Talk Pretty One Day is by David Sedaris who is a short essay writer and has also written acclaimed books like Naked. I have always wanted to read this book and once I got my hands on it I could not put it down. Each chapter is a short essay about his life and his travels of living in North Carolina, Chicago, New York, and Paris. He discusses how he hates computers and tried to learn french while having a speech impediment. His analogies are hysterical and this book is funny. He does an amazing job describing his life and things that he thinks and it is really cool to feel like you are in his mind. There were some blah parts but over all it was a good book. I give the book a 3 out of 5.
