Book Review: Mother Warriors

So I got done reading Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All Odds and I really enjoyed the book. This book opened my eyes to realize how many other families go through what my niece's family goes through. All the different supplements and all the different therapies. A lot of times many families think they are alone, even if they are at an event that supports autism and other things. This book made me realize that we are not alone and other people are out there struggling and doing the same things we are. This book also made me look at autism in another light. Many people blame different causes for autism and this book focused on the biomedical aspect of autism. Thus said this means that after vaccines, they noticed their child to be different or start to have signs and symptoms of autism. I knew that many people blamed vaccines as a cause but I did not know a lot of research behind this and this book showed all the differences and things I still need to learn. This was a great book and I give it a 5 out of 5 on my scale. I definitely encourage you to read it, regardless of whether or not you know someone with autism.
